Supporting the Arts in Los Gatos
and Rotary Around the World

Chartered in 2003, our mission is to give back to our community in ways that improve the community and the lives of those who live here and have a great deal of fun doing it.

Members of our club have traveled to India to fight polio, South America to help burn victims, Mississippi to rebuild houses devastated by the hurricanes, hiked the Himalayas to help an orphanage and have walked in high heels to support sexual assault awareness in our own community. We have given scholarships to students interested in studying architecture, art and drama as well as raised funds for the Los Gatos Theatre Improvement Project and the Los Gatos Education Fund.

If you are passionate about making a difference and are looking for a group of people who feel the same way, then we would like to invite you to breakfast.

A Rotary Moment

The Rotary Club began in Chicago in 1905. The club initiated its first public service project, the construction of public toilets in Chicago in 1907. This project transformed Rotary into the world's first Service Club. Rotary International has grown from that first group of 4 gentlemen who created a professional and business club for friendship and fellowship, to over 1.2 million members world-wide working under the motto: "Service Above Self". While the club provides a venue for both business and social networking, the primary focus is on local and international service projects.

Ironically, the lack of proper sanitation and lack of basic toilet facilities is still a pervasive problem in many areas of the world. For those without access to a simple toilet, poop can be poison. Businessman-turned-sanitation-superhero, and a Rotarian, Jack Sim fights this oft-neglected crisis affecting 2.6 billion people.

Please watch this sometimes funny, but serious 3 minute video honoring the recently passed "World Toilet Day"
